Having worked for elite law firms such as Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, Eric has worked on high-stakes transactions for clients such as Amazon, Jerry Jones, Banc of America Securities LLC, Palantir and Greenlane Holdings.
Eric is well-known for his writing and scholarship on the topic of the “Silver Tsunami” (also known as “The Great Wealth Transfer”), the largest wealth transfer in history whereby the Baby Boomer generation will transfer $70 trillion or more in assets to Generation Xers and Millennials, including trillions of American small businesses.
Eric has been selected four times as a “Rising Star” (2020, 2022 – 2024) by Super Lawyers for M&A, was named a 2024 “Ones to Watch” by The Best Lawyers in America and is a 2015 graduate of the Duke University School of Law.
Leveraging 15 years of recruiting experience, the Kalmar Group was formed to partner with great companies to find great leaders. Dylan has served in a recruiting role in a wide variety of industries including collegiate recruiting, B2B software sales, and being the first full-time recruiter for a startup recruitment agency.
This is his second time building a recruitment firm and that experience combined with leading the SMB line of business for a high-growth B2B software company provides a perspective, knowledge, and expertise of this space.
From Dylan:
“My perspective is that recruiting top talent takes time, skills, and focus and many businesses simply don't have the bandwidth to find the tier of leaders that they know they need. The positive effect of an incredible leadership hire can exponentially change the trajectory of a business. Unfortunately the same can be said of a bad hire! My goal is to be the trusted recruitment partner that finds the best available talent, as fast as possible, through all means necessary.”
